Follow these crime prevention
ü Never leave your
vehicle unattended with keys in the ignition.
ü Lock your doors
and keep the windows closed, even when parked in front of your home.
Park in and well-lit areas. (If there are
dark areas where you have to park install additional lighting or speak to the
manager about additional lighting.)
Do not leave valuables –GPS, GPS
holder, cell phone, lap tops, brief cases or anything of value in plain view.
Equip your vehicle with an alarm or other
Never leave your vehicle registration or
other personal documents in the vehicle.
Report auto theft immediately. Provide
local authorities with the make/Model/license plate and Vehicle ID number.
Close your windows completely.
Consider adding a visible or audible
anti-theft device to your vehicle.(Audible Alarm system, Steering column
collars, Wheel locks, etc.)
Install or utilize a vehicle immobilizer
system. (Smart keys with computer
Chips, fuse cut-offs, kill switches,
starter, ignition and fuel disablers).
