The Corporate Services Section consists of the following units:

The Financial Management Unit prepares the annual budget and monitors the fiscal resources of the Department.
1. The Procurement Unit orders and provides for uniform and equipment requests as well as building maintenance.
2. The Grants Management Office applies for grants and reports on their implementation.
3. The Fiscal Unit monitors the fiscal resources of the Department.
Fleet Management coordinates maintenance of the Department's vehicles through the City's Bureau of Motor Transportation.
The Property Control Unit is charged with keeping, maintaining and organizing all Department owned property. The unit responsibilities include: storage and proper disposition of evidence, contraband and property turned in by the Police Department, issuing and accounting for supplies and personal equipment, inventory and impounded vehicle releases.
The Training Unit provides and coordinates training for all employees including basic recruit training, in-service training, roll-call training and outside training. The unit also keeps and maintains training records for all employees.
The Personnel Services Unit provides support for the Department including: personnel files and orders, sick leave requests, personnel transaction forms, pension and benefit support, new employee orientation, processing payroll and monitoring the employee grievance process.
The Recruitment Unit seeks out and screens applicants for employment as police officers and other authorized positions.
