| 8/31/2010 -APD NAMES MEMBERS OF NEWLY RE-FORMED GLBT ADVISORY BOARD |
| The Atlanta Police Department today announced the nine members of its Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgendered (GLBT) Advisory Board. The board will serve as a critical link between the APD and the GLBT community, assisting the department in better understanding its public safety needs. |

| The Atlanta Police Department has two programs for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant(JAG) Program, FY 2010 Local Solicitation:
A police safety enhancement program that will purchase location devices for all patrol cars, making it easy to locate them when an office is in need of rapid assistance.
A Part One Crime pattern suppression program that provides overtime funds to each of the police precincts they can use for additional patrols against patterns of crime established in their areas of responsibility.

On May 21, 2010, the Atlanta Police Department, being committed to improving the quality of life in the City of Atlanta launched an additional service from our website. This new interactive service allows users to check narcotics arrests. The inquiry shows the type of arrest, date, race and gender of arrestee, address by block number, neighborhood and NPU. The purpose of this link is to serve as an added tool for residents, business owners and concerned citizens to be well informed of the police activity in regards to drug arrest. The link will be updated continuously on a weekly basis and has a database going back to January 1, 2010. The website is www.atlantapd.org. On the left side of the web page, there will be a menu selection for Police and Community, once there it will be a selection for drug arrests. The user will be asked to enter a range of dates, and then choose from the offered selections. Furthermore, anyone with information concerning illegal drug activities are asked to call Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS(8477) or the Atlanta Police Narcotics Tip Line at 404-546-2650 |

| 3/2/2010 -APD Seeks Armed Robbery Suspect |
| The Atlanta Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating Delrico Green, who is pictured above. He is wanted for an armed robbery from 869 Beryl St. which occurred on January 11, 2010. The victim was in his vehicle when the suspect attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim refused to comply and was shot two times through the door of the vehicle. Delrico Green is a 32 year old black male, 5’9" tall and 200 pounds. Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call the Atlanta Police Fugitive Unit at (404) 546-4220 or Atlanta Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477. |
