APD Arrests Repeat Offender Car Thieves

Find Drugs and Extensive Identity Fraud Evidence

Post Date:05/13/2020 9:30 AM

On May 7, 2020, Zone 5 officers responded to a call regarding a stolen Nissan Armada that was tracked to the Westin Hotel valet parking deck at 210 Peachtree Street. Officers located the vehicle, reviewed video surveillance footage, obtained the room number for the suspects, and sought a search warrant. While waiting on the warrant, officers were notified by hotel staff that a male, later identified as Earnest Lamar, was attempting to get the car from the valet. With consent, officers searched Lamar and the vehicle and detained Lamar who admitted to knowing that the vehicle was stolen. While officers searched the vehicle, another male suspect, later identified as Johnny Ervin, arrived at the valet booth and was also detained. Officers then entered the suspects' room and found and detained a woman, later identified as Samantha Jo Inclima, as well as suspected crystal methamphetamine, several glass pipes, suspected heroin, 46 suspected MDMA pills, $23,980 in cash, and paperwork containing the personal and banking information of 45 people.

This was great work by Zone 5 officers. All three individuals, who have previous arrests, were charged and taken to Fulton County Jail. These arrests took repeat offenders off the streets and prevented other crimes from occurring by this trio.  #WeCatchBadGuys
