The driver was identified as James Anthony Johnson (DOB 10.93) He was arrested and charged with D.U.I./Alcohol and was transported to Atlanta City Detention Center. The owner of the company, Mr. John Rapp IV, was issued a citation for not having a valid sight seeing permit. The investigation continues.

On Saturday April 30, 2022, at around 6:30pm officers responded to a report of a traffic crash near W Peachtree St and 14^th St NE. On scene officers found that a “pedal pub” electric bike had tipped over while making a turn. Preliminary investigation found that there were 15 people on the bike when it tried to turn and tipped over. All 15 patrons on the bike were injured and taken to area hospitals. None of the injuries appeared life threatening. The driver of the bike was charged with DUI and a business permit violation.
