Preliminary Information: On 9/11/24, officers responded to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who is a contract employee with an airport vendor, with lacerations sustained to his face and hands. He was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to Grady Hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim is a shuttle manager and received a phone call from one of his drivers that an unsheltered passenger was on the shuttle she was driving and was behaving erratically. The victim confronted the suspect on the shuttle and requested him to leave, that is when the suspect brandished a knife and assaulted the victim. The suspect fled the scene but was later located and detained by officers hiding in a garbage can. Officers also recovered the knife nearby. The suspect was identified as Jacarie Seymour. Arrest charges are pending at this time as the investigation continues.
