Preliminary information:  On May 9, 2021 at around 7:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to 2520 Jonesboro Rd SE on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male at the location with a gunshot wound.  Atlanta Fire and Rescue as well as Grady EMTs arrived on scene and the male was pronounced deceased.  Homicide detectives will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.  The investigation continues.
