Arrest Update:
On July 2nd, 2025, Mr. Jabyrion Crumbley (DOB: 12/2006) surrendered himself at the Fulton County Jail, present with his attorney. He was processed and booked accordingly. Mr. Crumbley faces charges of:
- Murder
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
Ms. Janisha Crumbley (DOB: 5/1993) was arrested and taken into custody on June 20th, 2025, by Zone 1 officers during a traffic stop. Ms. Crumbley faces charges of:
- Hindering the apprehension of a felon
Preliminary information: On June 16, 2025, at approximately 5:35 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a person shot at 276 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd NW. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 62-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back. Medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was driving and attempting to make a turn when a verbal exchange occurred with the driver of another vehicle. During the altercation, the victim was shot, causing him to crash his vehicle into a vacant residence.
Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene and are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
