UPDATE:

On 2/2/26, the Atlanta Police Department's SWAT, Drone, Fugitive, and Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the United States Secret Service, executed a search warrant and arrested Mr. Willie Felder (DOB: 7/2003). Felder was identified as a primary suspect involved in the homicide that occurred on 06/30/25 at the location of 3390 Fairburn Road. Felder was taken into custody and transported to Atlanta Police Public Safety Headquarters for processing and will be transported to the Fulton County Jail pending the following charges: Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. Mr. Felder has 1 arrest cycle out of Georgia for Simple Battery and Criminal Trespass.  

Previously released

Preliminary Statement: On June 30th, 2025, at approximately 9:15PM, officers responded to 3390 Fairburn Road SW in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male who sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time
