Preliminary statement: On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at around 9:45 PM, Officers responded to 245 Oak Dr. SE on a person shot call. Upon arrival, officers located two gunshot victims on scene; a 18-year-old male, was pronounced deceased on scene. A 21-year-old female victim was shot in the shoulder and transported to the hospital in stable condition. 

Officers were also dispatched to 50 Mt Zion Rd SW around the same time regarding multiple people shot. Upon arrival, officers located three gunshot victims. All three victims were transported to the hospital with one being in critical condition.  

While continuing their investigation, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Old Hapeville Rd SW and Cleveland Ave SW on a dark colored sedan. Further investigation revealed the rear passenger inside of the vehicle was shot. He was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. At this time, it appears the shooting scenes are all related with the actual shooting location being 279 Oak Dr. SE

Aggravated Assault and Homicide investigators responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. At this time, the investigation is active and ongoing.
