Preliminary information: On August 31, 2025, at approximately 1:03 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a report of a person shot at 415 Fairburn Rd. SW. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 26-year-old male victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing, and transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Preliminary investigation indicates an ongoing verbal dispute between known parties escalated to gunfire.

The suspect, Thaddeus Cullins (10/2001), was taken into custody by responding officers and charges are pending.
