Preliminary Information: On 09/15/25, around 10:38am, officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious package at the location of 1100 Spring St NW. Upon arrival, officers established a secure perimeter and rendered the area safe. The APD S.W.A.T. and EOD units arrived on scene to investigate the contents of the package. Further investigation revealed the package was not determined to be a threat and was identified as a shoebox containing a household item. Units discarded the package in a safe manner. No further threats were located, and the scene was cleared.
