Preliminary information: On December 1, 2025, at approximately 2:35 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers responded to a report of a person shot near Mayson Turner Rd. NW & Chappell Rd. NW. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 19-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing, and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim may have been shot near 1247 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW and the incident may have been the result an ongoing dispute with a known suspect. Investigators responded to the scene to determine the circumstance surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
