Preliminary information: On December 2, 2025, at approximately 7:37 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers responded to a report of a person shot near 450 Moreland Ave. SE. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 48-year-old female victim who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing, and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The victim was unable to provide responding officers with any suspect information or a reason for the shooting. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
