Preliminary statement: On January 7, 2026, at approximately 6:57 P.M., officers responded to reports of a person shot at 314 Skipper PL NW. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 16-year-old male victim who sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the foot. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing, and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
