Arrest update: On April 27, 2026, the Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit, with assistance from Georgia State Patrol, took Tyree Jordan (6/2002) into custody without incident. Mr. Jordan has been charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
Arrest update: On April 23, 2026, the Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit, in coordination with APD’s SWAT Unit and APEX Unit, Georgia State Patrol SWAT, and FBI AMMO Task Force, took Gerald Deese (4/2006) and Gerquez Deese (1/2004) into custody without incident. Both suspects have been charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Preliminary Information: On April 8, 2026, around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to 2656 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. Grady EMS and Atlanta Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported the male to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, despite life saving measures. Officers were able to establish and secure a crime scene with multiple shell casings. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
