Preliminary Information: On 4/30/26, around 12:30am, officers responded to a person shot call at the location of 1579 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with gunshot wounds. He was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation indicates a crowd gathering took place in front of the location. A dispute within the crowd escalated to gunfire resulting in the victim being shot. The crowd fled the scene shortly after the shooting. Investigators are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
