Arrest update: On May 6, 2026, the Atlanta Police Department's Fugitive Unit, with assistance from the F.B.I. AMMO Task Force and G.S.P. SWAT team, took Aldemetrius Brown (6/1991) into custody for his connection to the August 29, 2025, homicide at 13 Harwell Pl. NW. Mr. Brown has been charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
All arrests are public information. An arrest does not mean that the individual has been or will be convicted of the crime. Individuals on this press release/website/post/video are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

Preliminary information: On August 29, 2025, around 11:10 p.m., officers responded to a person shot at 13 Harwell Pl. NW. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Grady EMS responded to the scene and transported the male to the hospital in critical condition. On August 30, 2025, at approximately 8:24 a.m., the APD homicide unit was notified that the victim succumbed to his injuries. Homicide investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Arrest warrants have been issued as the investigation continues. Nothing further at this time as the investigation continues.
