Preliminary information: On May 30, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a report of a person shot at 612 Lee St. SW. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 28-year-old male who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing, and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Responding officers detained two females on the scene who were involved in the incident. Preliminary investigation indicates the incident may have been the result of a road rage dispute. Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
