Preliminary information: On Friday, July 3, 2026, at approximately 1:25 a.m., Atlanta police officers responded to Grady Memorial Hospital regarding a male who arrived at the location via private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was alert, conscious and breathing.
Further investigation revealed the original incident location appears to have occurred at Catherine St SW at Mayland Ave SW. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting as the investigation continues.
