On 7/4/2026, officers responded to 999 Washington St on a report of a person shot and located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim sustained graze wounds to the hand and head, a second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left leg, and a third victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg. All three victims were alert and self-transported to Grady Hospital for treatment.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were attending a party when an unknown Black male emerged from between two houses across the street and began firing multiple rounds before fleeing the scene on foot. The victims, the residence, and a vehicle were struck by gunfire.

The investigation remains ongoing.
