Preliminary Information: On 07/6/26, around 10 pm, officers responded to 2637 Old Hapeville Rd SW regarding a person shot. Upon arrival, officers learned that a female victim was privately transported to the hospital for treatment. Units arrived at Grady EMS, where they located an unresponsive adult female (19) receiving treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased by medical staff. The Homicide unit was notified and responded to the hospital to gather details surrounding the incident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
