Preliminary Information: On 07/07/26, around 3:47 am, officers responded to 380 Decatur St SE in reference to a possible robbery. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male lying in the roadway. The male had an apparent neck injury and was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS services. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The FCME will lead the investigation to determine the cause of death.
