Preliminary information: On July 30, 2026, at approximately 3:29 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers located a possible wanted person in a vehicle near Euclid Ave NE & Moreland Ave NE. Officers attempted to box the suspect’s vehicle in and the suspect then rammed two patrol vehicles. Subsequently, there was a brief pursuit and the suspect’s vehicle struck two additional vehicles near North Ave. NE and Moreland Ave. NE. The suspect continued to flee on foot after the vehicle accident. Officers established a perimeter, and the suspect was located and taken into custody without further incident. No critical injuries were reported from the incident and charges are pending. The investigation continues.

 

The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Jemarcus Acholes.
