Preliminary Information: On 08/3/26, around 11:47pm, officers responded to 1247 Joseph E. Boone in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male in the parking lot  suffering from a gunshot wound. Grady EMS arrived on scene and transported the male to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
