On August 4, 2026, APD Investigators, with the assistance of the FBI Violent Crime Task Force, took Lonnie Carswell (DOB 8/1998) into custody at 475 McWilliams Road SE on the outstanding murder warrant for his involvement in the 06/24/26 homicide that occurred at 718 Ponce De Leon Ave NE. Carswell was transported to APD Public Safety Headquarters to be interviewed and processed by Investigators. All fugitives involved in this case have been apprehended.

261750495: On 06/24/26, Officers responded to 718 Ponce De Leon Ave NE regarding a person down call. Upon arrival, Officers located an unresponsive male lying on the sidewalk. Atlanta Fire and Grady EMS arrived on scene and pronounced Mr. Webb deceased. The Homicide Unit was notified and requested the Fulton County Medical Examiner to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed at this time. The decedent's body was removed at the direction of the Medical Examiner. The official cause and manner of death will be determined at autopsy.
