On August 2, 2026, Atlanta Police officers responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at 610 Spring St NW. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle that had been struck. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Mr. Shamar McCoy (03/1997). While verifying his identity, officers discovered that Mr. McCoy had an active warrant for his arrest for Battery stemming from an incident that occurred within the City of Atlanta on November 25, 2024. Mr. McCoy was taken into custody and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
