The Atlanta Housing Authority provides access to low-cost rental housing, including subsidized and Section 8 housing for income eligible persons.

Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc (ALAS)
The Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc. (ALAS) provides free legal assistance to very-low income individuals in civil (non-criminal) cases in Fulton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, and Clayton counties. ALAS handles, among other cases, landlord/tenant disputes, eviction warrants, landlord repair/maintenance issues, as well as cases involving fraud against homeowners and possible foreclosures.

The Atlanta ToolBank
The Atlanta ToolBank lends tools and distributes affordable materials to qualified non-profits and neighborhood organizations; and the Home Repair Program utilizes volunteers, donated materials, and community expertise to keep existing homeowners warm, safe, and dry.
